Fullstack Engineer - Remote
We're looking for a fullstack engineer who enjoys solving tricky problems, owning features, and seeing people use what they built.
HelplineSoftware helps callers reach the right on-call person, 24/7. You'll work across the whole stack on scheduling, call routing, voice, SMS, and chat. Our customers include crisis hotlines, so your work matters every day.
100% remote. Hands-on work, room to grow, and a team looking to build a 5+ year working relationship.
What you'll do
- Turn customer requirements into fully tested frontend and backend features.
- Own deliverables and timelines, ask good questions, and raise issues early.
- Find the cause of bugs and add tests that catch them.
- Write readable, maintainable code, follow our style guide, and keep pull requests small.
You're a fit if
- You're strong in frontend and backend development and can deliver features independently.
- You write useful unit tests and end-to-end tests in Cypress.
- You take ownership, enjoy learning, and give and receive feedback thoughtfully.
