This position provides accurate, real-time Over-the-Phone (OPI) and Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) consecutive interpretation in a first-person style. The interpreter facilitates communication between English speakers and Mandarin/Cantonese speakers across various industries.

Provide accurate, meaning-for-meaning consecutive interpretation over the phone.

Interpret in various sectors including medical, insurance, finance, emergency line, etc.

Manage tone, pace, and professionalism during live calls

Follow all interpreter protocols, company policies, confidentiality rules, and industry ethics.

Maintain neutrality at all times and avoid personal opinions or additions.

Build and maintain strong terminology knowledge relevant to OPI and VRI use cases.

Attend required training, QA reviews, and coaching sessions.

Demonstrate reliable attendance, accurate adherence to shift schedules, and timely completion of tasks.
