At Progreso Consulting Ltd., we are committed to improving outcomes for children and young people whose needs present barriers to learning and progress. We view every child and young person as an individual, and we believe that everyone deserves the support required to achieve in line with their potential. For this reason, it is essential that applicants can form a clear picture of the child or young person in their mind and adapt their approach accordingly.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Exceptional written English, including the ability to produce extended, high‑quality written work (a high grade in A Level English is preferred).
  • Adaptability, resilient, and strong organisational skills, particularly when working under pressure.
  • The ability to respond well to constructive feedback and use it to refine and improve work.
  • A genuine interest in education and special educational needs.
  • The ability to manage deadlines and maintain high standards of accuracy.

This role is perfect for anyone looking to progress into the field of educational psychology, but also offers an array of other personal development work which is individually tailored to each employee, as well as opportunities for internal career progression.

This role is not at all suitable for anyone looking to gain experience before training to become a Clinical or Forensic Psychologist.

This position is remote, with the occasional office day and/or company social in London (where our head office is located). There is an element of adaptability to the role, although the working day is typically 8:30am to 5:30pm with occasional work outside of this time during busy periods.

The application and interview process is in depth, with numerous stages and assessments to ensure that you are the right fit for the role. If successful, you will also receive a thorough, in-person training course located in London.

Key Job Requirements:

  • Undergraduate Psychology Degree of a 2:1 or higher (masters degree in Psychology is preferred)
  • Excellent writing skills (high grade A Level English preferred)
  • Good time management skills
  • Experience working with children and young people (1 year or more is preferred)

Benefits of the Job:

  • Adaptable working to accommodate appointments etc.
  • Predominantly remote working, although periodic attendance in London is mandatory
  • 28 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays)

  • Individualised personal development work (this may involve training courses funded by the company)
  • Rapid salary progression based on performance
  • Exciting company days and activities in London
