Position: Quantity Surveyor (QS)

Reporting To: Project Manager / Management
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare quantity take-offs from drawings and project documents.
- Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) for construction works.
- Check and verify quantities of materials, labour, and work items.
- Prepare material requirement and purchase quantity reports.
- Monitor actual site quantities against BOQ and approved drawings.
- Prepare measurement sheets and maintain proper quantity records.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, Purchase and Accounts teams.
- Verify contractor/subcontractor measurements and bills.
- Check work progress and cost implications.
- Identify quantity variations and report them to management.
- Prepare rate analysis and cost estimates when required.
- Maintain project-wise QS records and reports.
- Support project planning, budgeting, and cost control.
- Coordinate with site teams to resolve quantity and measurement-related issues.
- Ensure all QS documentation is updated and properly maintained.
Required Skills
- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering or related qualification.
- Experience in construction quantity surveying preferred.
- Good knowledge of BOQ, quantity take-off, estimation and measurement.
- Ability to read and understand civil/architectural drawings.
- Knowledge of Excel and quantity-estimation software.
- Good analytical and calculation skills.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to work with site and project teams.
Pay: From ₹35,000.00 per month
