You'll ideally have:

  • Experience managing operational teams within waste management, logistics, facilities management, manufacturing, or a similar environment.
  • Strong people management and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • A strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of waste operations and recycling processes (desirable but not essential).
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.

What Success Looks Like

In this role, you'll make a real difference by:

  • Delivering safe, compliant, and efficient operations across multiple customer sites.
  • Developing engaged, high-performing teams.
  • Ensuring customer requirements are consistently met and exceeded.
  • Identifying and implementing operational improvements.
  • Maintaining excellent standards of service, safety, and compliance.
  • Supporting business growth through strong customer relationships and operational excellence.

What's in It for You?

  • Competitive salary of £45,000 - £48,000 per annum.
  • Car allowance.
  • Annual bonus opportunity.
  • Company laptop and mobile phone.
  • Perkbox benefits platform.
  • Cycle to Work scheme.
  • Private medical insurance options.
  • Ongoing development and career progression opportunities.
  • A supportive and collaborative working environment.
